Lockheed(prime) with Cosmic(sub) Awarded Aegis Data Management & Tool Support Re-Compete Contract....August 24, 2005
We received some great news on August 4, 2005!! The Navy awarded to Lockheed Team Dahlgren ( Cosmic is a sub on this), the Aegis Data Management and Tool Support re-compete. This is a 5 year $29.1M award and will continue our support to N05 and the Aegis Program for another 5 years. Aegis is an integrated shipboard air defense missile system utilizing state-of-the art computer technology. Aegis is currently in use throughout the surface navy.
Congratulations to the entire team of individuals that support the Aegis customers on a daily basis. In this award, Lockheed is the prime and Northrop Grumman, EG&G, TMG, and Cosmic Software Technology, Inc are the sub contractors.
Without the efforts of all the team players under the leadership of Lockheed, we would not have achieved a successful outcome to this contract re-compete process. Special recognition goes to the Orals Team and the Technical editing and Graphics Department.
The hard work by everyone over the last two weeks of March/early April provided a polished and precise presentation.
Cosmic Software Technology is very proud to be associated with Lockheed and other giants like Northrop Grumman, EG&G and TMG.

The Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA is the contacting activity.
Cosmic is justifiably proud of this contract award and looks forward to providing quality IT support to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
Thompson Recognized by Lockheed Martin
Brian Thompson, a senior Cosmic employee was recently recognized by the Lockheed Martin Project Manager at NSWC Dahlgren for superior performance. Brian developed a new section of the DREAMNET website called the Certification War room.
The current application has been under development by another subcontractor for the past year and some of the applications were not working up-to-standards, and the backend database had some restrictions
Over 3 weeks, Brian worked on a replacement, which he demonstrated to the end user. The consensus is that Brian’s application works better and has more functionality than the other product. Brian did more in three weeks than the other company was able to do in a year.
Brian’s noteworthy accomplishments at NSWC Dahlgren are typical of the high quality of Cosmic’s team of security cleared consultants on this project, as well as other locations.
