Description:

• Assisted with the design, development, and maintenance of the Agency Financial Management System related to United States Department of Agriculture, food and Nutrition service utilizing COBOL II/IDMS/DB2 and JCL. Developed file transfer procedures using TCP/IP, creation of CICS programs and CLISTs used to submit batch jobs, primary production support for several subsystems and mentored new team members.
• Developed detailed new business requirement and changes to the existing systems from the Data Standards Requirements & Solutions Document (DSR) and interaction with users and technical architects. Developed programs in COBOL, DB2, CICS, IMS to implement the new business changes as well as changes to the existing programs are also performed. Developed new JCLs and made modification to existing JCLs to execute the newly developed programs. Tools used in testing are TSO/ISPF, Intertest & Expediter. The programs were migrated to the higher environments and production using PVCS and Endeavor. Created documentation of the new programs and changes to the existing programs.

Managed the Development and Planning Process to Include Sarbanes-Oxley Audits of Section 404.Conducted Audits on Corporate process related to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and recommended alternative controls to improve existing processes.
